Over the past two weeks, we've been incredibly busy bringing our latest collection of full-length mirrors to homes across New Zealand. It's been a whirlwind of activity as we've worked tirelessly to ensure that you receive the best products and service possible. We wanted to take a moment to share some updates with you, including the challenges we've faced and the steps we've taken to improve.
Navigating Delivery Challenges
When our new products arrived, we were eager to get them to you as quickly as possible. In our haste, we partnered with NZC for deliveries outside of Auckland. Unfortunately, due to a system error and a lack of specialised handling for oversized and fragile items, some of our customers received their full-length mirrors damaged or broken.
We want to extend our sincere apologies to those affected. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we understand how disappointing it is to receive a damaged product.
Upon realising the issue, we immediately switched to Kiwi Oversize, a delivery service specialising in handling large and fragile items like our full-length mirrors. Since making this change, all mirrors sent through Kiwi Oversize have been delivered intact, and we've been thrilled to hear from customers who received their mirrors in perfect condition. Your joy is our greatest reward.
Addressing the Hook Design Concerns
As a new company, this is our first venture into product design, and we're learning and growing every day. We included hooks on the back of our full-length mirrors with the intention of allowing them to stand upright against a wall, providing stability and preventing them from tipping forward.
However, we've learned that some customers have attempted to hang the mirrors on the wall solely using these hooks, without any floor support. We did not anticipate this use, and we acknowledge that we failed to communicate the intended purpose of the hooks clearly.
We sincerely apologise for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. If you have experienced issues related to this, please accept our heartfelt apologies. Our team is committed to making it right, and we are ready to assist with replacements or refunds as needed.
