This website is operated by C&F Creation. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to C&F Creation. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”). These Terms apply to all users of the site.
1. General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (excluding credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
2. Accuracy of Information
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete, or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate sources of information.
3. Products and Pricing
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product, service, or content without prior notice.
4. Product Use and Safety
Our mirrors are handcrafted, meaning slight variations in measurements (1–2cm) may occur. This is a natural characteristic of handmade craftsmanship and does not constitute a manufacturing fault.
If you are not comfortable accepting this minor variation, you may request a refund or exchange. In such cases, return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility unless the item is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Assembly & Fault Assessment
For products that require assembly, customers are responsible for following the provided installation instructions.
If you believe a product may be faulty, please contact us with photos or videos first so our team can help troubleshoot.
In some cases, the item may need to be returned to our warehouse for inspection.
If the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing fault, we will provide a repair, replacement, or refund in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act. We will also cover reasonable return shipping costs.
If the issue is determined to be caused by incorrect assembly, misuse, or not following the installation instructions, the item will not be considered faulty. In this case, return shipping and any re-delivery costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
Floor Lamps: Change of Mind Returns
Change of mind returns on floor lamps are accepted only if the lamp is unopened and in its original packaging. Once a floor lamp has been unpacked or assembled, we are unable to accept a change of mind return, as it can no longer be resold as new. Please make sure you are happy with your choice before unpacking. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act, faulty items are always covered.
5. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service or product without prior notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for price changes, suspensions, or discontinuations.
6. Inspection of Goods Upon Delivery
Upon receiving your order, it is the customer’s responsibility to unbox and thoroughly inspect the mirror(s) within 48 hours of delivery.
Any issues, including but not limited to, damage sustained during transit, manufacturing defects, or discrepancies with your order, must be reported to us immediately within this 48-hour timeframe.
To report an issue, please contact our support team via email at customerservice@cfcreation.co.nz, including a description of the issue and clear photographic evidence. Failure to report any damages or issues within this 48-hour period will be taken as confirmation that the goods were received in good and acceptable condition.
7. Customer's Own Transportation
C&F Creation does not accept any responsibility or liability for any damage that may occur to a product during transportation that is arranged or undertaken by the customer. Our liability ceases once the initial delivery has been completed and the item has been accepted as per the 48-hour inspection clause above. This includes, but is not limited to, damage occurring during the transport of an item from our Auckland warehouse after a local pickup, or during any subsequent relocation of the mirror by the customer.
8. User Comments and Feedback
By submitting comments, suggestions, or creative ideas to us, you agree that we may edit, copy, publish, distribute, or otherwise use them in any medium without obligation to compensate you.
9. Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions
Occasionally, there may be errors in product descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, transit times, or availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors and update information without prior notice, including canceling affected orders.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any related agreements shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
