Madox Loft Floor Lamp

Madox reads like something from a converted warehouse: black metal frame, wide cotton drum shade, and an arching arm that pushes the shade about 50cm forward from the base. A corner piece with reach.

Arc that hangs over the couch
The curve of the arm is the functional story. A straight floor lamp sits beside the couch and lights the air next to you. Madox leans over the couch and lights the space you are sitting in. That 50cm reach means the shade can hang above a reading chair, a laptop setup on a two-seater, or the end of a sectional where task lighting would otherwise need a ceiling pendant.

Industrial palette, small footprint
165cm tall, 3.8kg, all matte black metal with a natural cotton drum shade. The lamp reads loft even in a suburban lounge, which is useful if the rest of the room is softer (beige couch, light timber floor). It adds a structural accent without being heavy-handed. The shade is cotton, not fabric-over-metal, so the light is warmer and more diffused than a metal-shaded industrial lamp would give.

Paired with
Brick, concrete, dark timber, leather. Or sitting quietly beside a lighter neutral palette where Madox becomes the architectural element. E27 socket takes a standard warm-white LED. Do not run it above a dining table; the 50cm reach is not enough to centre the shade over a 90cm-wide table.
