Voltaire 3-Light Cage Floor Lamp

One bulb in a dark corner gives you a spotlight. Voltaire gives you three. Three short arms come off a single matte black pole, each holding an exposed globe inside an open wire cage. Three points of light from one stand, thrown in three different directions. A single shade lamp brightens the patch it points at. This one fills the corner.

Cages, not shades
Each cage is an elongated teardrop, 13cm across and 15cm tall, formed from about 20 vertical wires and left open at the bottom. No fabric, no glass, nothing solid between you and the globe. The cage is there to frame the bulb, not hide it, which is why the whole lamp feels industrial rather than dressed up.

The globes are the look
Because all three bulbs sit in plain view, ordinary frosted globes will look ordinary. Vintage style filament LEDs in E27, the kind with the visible glowing coil, are what this lamp is begging for. Globes are not included, so have three matching ones lined up before it arrives, otherwise it stands there dark waiting on bulbs. One thing to know before you buy: the trio switches together on a plain foot switch, all on or all off, and there is no dimmer. Simple, and honest about it.

Sits best
At 176.1cm it clears eye level and still leaves a decent gap under a standard 2.4m Kiwi ceiling. The weighted round base is 25.5cm across, so give it a corner where the arms can breathe rather than jamming it hard against a wall. Dim living room corners, the dead end of a hallway, or beside open shelving where the cages read as part of the styling. Industrial spaces first, but it likely behaves in most.
